Our services

Wendy Jewellery is a jade specialist based in Zaragoza. We sell finished jade jewellery, supply jade to businesses across Europe, and authenticate pieces for private clients and institutions.

Why specialise in jade?

Because it needs it. The jade trade is full of misrepresentation. Treated stones sold as natural. Dyed material marketed as rare colours. Glass or serpentine passed off as jade altogether. Unless you already know what to look for, buying jade means trusting someone else's word and that trust is frequently misplaced. We set up specifically to fix that problem.

Retail

We carry rings, bangles, pendants, and earrings in natural Type A jade and other materials such as amber, agate, natural pearls, 18k solid gold and sterling 925 silver. Every stone in our collection is untreated. We don't stock bleached, polymer-filled, or colour-enhanced material at all.

If you're after something we don't currently have — say, a particular shade of green, or a lavender jadeite, or a cabochon in a specific size — let us know. We source individual stones regularly and can coordinate production of a finished piece around what we find. Past commissions have included wedding bands, paired bangle sets, and one-off pendant designs.

Wholesale

We import nephrite and jadeite directly and work with businesses in two ways.

  • Jewellers and designers who make their own pieces buy raw material from us: rough jade, sawn slices, cabochons, beads, carved blanks. Tell us the stone type, the grade, and the cut dimensions. We verify everything as natural Typebefore dispatch.
  • Shops and galleries that want ready-to-sell stock can order from our finished jewellery line at wholesale pricing. The range runs from affordable nephrite to high-grade jadeite. All lots ship authenticated.

We handle importing and logistics from Zaragoza. We deliver to EU and outside EU too. It takes a bit longer because of the additional customs paperwork, but we take care of that on our end. Check out our shipping policy

Authentication

Own a jade piece and not sure what you've got? That's most of our authentication clients.

The usual story is one of three things:

  • Someone inherited jewellery and wants to know if it's worth insuring.
  • Someone bought a piece at auction or an estate sale and the provenance was thin.
  • Or someone came home from a trip with bangle or pendant bought in a market overseas.

We examine the stone and tell you what it is. Specifically: whether it's jade or something else (glass, quartz, serpentine, and dyed marble are the most common substitutes we see), whether it's nephrite or jadeite, whether any treatments have been applied, and what the colour, translucency, and texture indicate about quality and probable origin.

You get a written report. If you need the assessment for insurance, we can format it accordingly.
